Janet has more than 20 years of experience as a project management consultant and instructor.  She is an industry-recognized expert in project/portfolio management, agile, and Six Sigma best practices and methodologies.  In addition to instructing, Janet is an active PM consultant, specializing in tailoring project management processes and enabling them to fit the culture of particular organizations.

With many years of actively managing projects and portfolios, Janet has also been an active volunteer and president of her local PMI Chapter, and Adjunct Professor of Project Management at Penn State, and an Advisory Council Member of the Women in Leadership Executive Program at George Washington University. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Certified Scrum Master® (CSM), and holds an Agile Hybrid Project Pro Micro-Credential from PMI.
